SIR Home Energy Efficiency Audits
At SIR Home Improvements, we love helping our customers get the upgrades they need to keep their homes comfortable, safe, and looking good. But we always feel we can do more. We understand the global need to conserve precious natural resources, and we’re eager to do our part. That’s why we offer a free energy audit and sealing service to every homeowner who chooses SIR Home Improvements for one or more home upgrades.

Since 2011, we’ve offered our Energy Solution System to all SIR Home Improvements customers. In the years that followed, we’ve been recognized many times for our contributions to environmental conservation. In fact, we’ve been:

“So, What’s Included?”
The SIR Home Energy Solution System goes far beyond a simple energy audit. When you purchase a home upgrade from SIR Home Improvements and request our energy solution services, you’ll receive:
A Home Energy Audit
Your audit will be conducted by a consultant who’s certified by the Building Performance Institute (BPI). The consultant will inspect your attic’s air sealing, insulation, HVAC ducts, attached garages, exterior wall outlets, doors, windows, and any other components that may be leaking energy.
Diagnostic Testing
The consultant will use specialized equipment to perform several advanced diagnostic tests, including a blower door test, infrared camera imaging, carbon monoxide sampling, and combustion safety testing.
Follow-up Sealing Services
Once air leakage is identified, we’ll repair faulty window caulking and apply sealants as appropriate to make your home as energy efficient as it can be.
