Limited Lifetime Labor Warranty

Requesting Service

In order for SIR Home Improvements to address your service needs as quickly as possible, please complete the following questionnaire.
Please note: All required information must be submitted through WWW.SIRHOME.COM before we will be able to access your warranty coverage information.
Once the questionnaire has been completed our service team will reach out to you in within 24 to 48 hours Monday through Friday to schedule a service appointment. (In case of an emergency please reach out to our Team at 269-381-8000)

If a change to your appointment time and/or date must occur, you will be notified no later than the business day prior to your scheduled time. (An exception to this would be if an emergency occurs)

All exterior appointments are tentative based on Weather conditions/temp and you will be provided with a 3-hour service window, With a 30-minute notice of arrival from the service technician. We will give you a reminder call the business day prior to your scheduled appointment.

What is Covered?

SIR HOME IMPROVEMENTS, INC. will replace and reinstall any products it originally installed if the installation of the product was not done in a workmanlike manner. This warranty shall be in effect for as long as the product is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The decision of what constitutes un-workmanlike installation must be agreed upon by SIR’s representative and the manufacturer’s representative before SIR is obligated under this limited labor warranty. SIR will provide all repairs that are compatible with the coverage of the original manufacturer’s warranty as specified and authorized by that original manufacturer’s warranty.

A signature will be required from the warranty holder upon completion of the service.

Transferable:

This Limited Lifetime Labor Warranty is transferable by the original homeowner to one subsequent owner. In order to transfer the warranty, the original homeowner must provide SIR HOME IMPROVEMENTS, INC., with the following within thirty (30) days of the sale of the home.

• A $50.00 warranty transfer fee must be paid up front before service will be scheduled.
• A copy of or the original warranty documents
• The new homeowner’s name and telephone number

This warranty covers Labor only. It does not take the place of or affect the manufacturer’s warranty on the material used.

Limitations:

SIR shall not be liable for interior water damage due to leaking of any type including ice back-up. SIR will replace defective material at no cost to the homeowner. The homeowner’s rights with regards to such defective materials are governed by the manufacturer’s warranty.

SIR is not liable for loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of any products damage and shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages caused by any of its products or services.

Entire Agreement:

This limited labor warranty is the entire agreement between SIR and the customer. SIR does not give the customer any other expressed or implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability.

Effective Date of Limited Warranty:

This warranty shall become effective upon payment of the entire amount of the goods and services as stated in the contract between SIR HOME IMPROVEMENTS and the customer.

Limited Lifetime Labor Warranty:

This Limited Lifetime Labor Warranty is given by SIR HOME IMPROVEMENTS, INC., 12849 US 131; Schoolcraft, MI 49087, to the original home-owner listed as the customer. It contains valuable information and should be kept by the homeowner for the entire term of this Limited Lifetime Labor Warranty.

*Projects that were covered under the 2 year limited labor warranty, are subject to a labor fee. (not including assessments) – Minimum charge $150 – All other fees will be discussed and agreed upon before work commences.
